If you are one of those people who sleep next to their phone, then you should start thinking about keeping it away from you as soon as possible.
So you might have wondered why we are telling you to keep your mobile phones away while sleeping because according to the California department of Public Health sleeping next to your phone even if its on your night stand can be really be dangerous for your health. 
All these devices use and emits radio frequency signals that can penetrate your brain easily. This could lead to tumors and even brain cancer.

Other health problems you can develop from this are:


  • Headache

  • learning, memory and hearing problem

  • Bad Sleep patterns

  • lower sperm count

  • Tumors on the acoustic nerve and salivary glands


Because of this  California department of Public Health,recommends taking practical measures to reduce your exposure to the radio frequency waves generated by your phone.

Measures to be followed:

keep your phone far from your bed at night or turn to airplane mode or even better turn it off.
Don't even think of using your mobile when the signal is weak as it will send higher levels of radio frequency waves. 
Avoid downloading large files and streaming video or audio for a long time.
Take off your ear butts or headsets when you are not using your phone as they are also release a small amount of radio frequency waves.
Cell phone haven't been around long enough to determine the long term repercussion of their use but everyday there is new evidence of the health problems caused by them. sometimes we don't know how dangerous the devices we carry in our pockets can be.So it is your responsibility to take care of yourself.
