The Indian Space Research Organisation launched its EMISAT satellite, along with 29 international nano satellites, on Wednesday at Sriharikota's Satish dawan space centre.
These include EMIsat sattelite of India, 24 of America, 2 Lithuania and 1-1 satellites of Spain and Switzerland.
The rocket lifted up into the sky at 9:27 AM. Before any other launches have ever done, visitors were not allowed to view the lift-off from the island of Sriharikota. But this time it was allowed and More than 1000 visitors witnessed this incident.
Purpose
EMIsat is made by ISRO and DRDO together. This satellite is very important for the country's security. Its special purpose is to monitor electronic or any kind of human activity on the border.
The launch of Indian launched EMISAT will be used to measure electromagnetic spectrum. Through this, it will be possible to track the radar system of enemy countries as well as their location. In the satellites being sent, the amount of EMISAT weighs 436 kilograms and the remaining 28 satellites is 220 kilograms.
The entire campaign is 180 minutes
On completion of the first 17 minutes, PSLV installed EMISAT at a height of 749 km. After this, the Solar power engine, which was started in the fourth phase, was brought to the height of about 504 km and there were 28 foreign satellites installed. In the fourth phase, some special experiments related to the Chandrayaan-2 campaign have to be made by bringing the rocket to 485 km height and with the help of three experimental payloads.
In a congratulatory address to his fellow scientists, ISRO Chairman Dr Sivan said there would be thirty more ISRO missions this year.
Calling it a very special mission, Dr Sivan congratulated all scientists involved and also the industry participants.
