Malloy HoverBike:
This Sci-Fi looking Hover bike is a combination of a Motorcycle and a Helicopter. Chris Malloy a New Zeland inventor developed Malloy Hover Bike in
2006. This Hoverbike is a single seated, vertical takeoff quadrocopter.

Malloy Hover bike has two forward and two aft-mounted vertical propellers.
These propellers each are enclosed in a hoop nacelle.
This Hoverbike is able to follow the pilot and also perform automatic take-off
and landing operations.
This Hoverbike is created using carbon fiber composite and aluminum fiber. It
is powered by petrol engine. Any one can fly this Hoverbike with a basic
training. Malloy Hoverbike can carry 130 kg payload and the maximum speed is 96 kilometer
per hour.
Efforts are being made continuously to improve the Hoverbike. The Company is
now collaborating with U.S. Army Armament Research, Development and Engineering
Center, for further improvements of the Hoverbike.
Magical Cloud Hoverbike:
Magical cloud Hoverbike is developed and assembled by a Chinese engineer Zhao Deli. This
Hoverbike was tested more that 1500 test flights during the process.
Zhao Deli, a 40 year old Drone technician developed this Hoverbike by his own
and he also sold his house to focus on his dream to build a Hoverbike.
The
Magical Hoverbike can reach speeds of up to 43mph. The duration of the flight
is about 25 to 30 min.
It took more than 1500 test flights in order to reach his goal. No doubt that
everyone admire his solo work in the development of Magical Cloud Hoverbike. He is aimed to
further develop it and improve its safety and make it available for public.
Hover Surf Scorpion-3:
The Hover Surf Scorpion 3 is produced by Hoversurf company, California. This
Hoverbike are even used by Dubai police. Scorpion 3 is made of carbon fiber. It
can even fly through door ways.
Recommended height to fly is 5 meters and it can also be raised higher. The max
speed is 96 km/hr for a duration of 10 to 25 minutes.
The Hoversurf
Scorpion 3 has Automatic Takeoff(AT) and Automatic Landing(AL) which makes it takeoff
and landing specific and safe. Efforts are being made to optimize the safety
and improve the hoverbike’s performance.
Ali Technologies Hoverbike
This manned Hoverbike looks really cool by its design. This model is called as
speeder. It was developed by Japanese company Ali technologies.
This Howerbike is powered by two motors. The propellers create enough power to lift the Hoverbike in
the air. this is how the hover bike lifts up. According to the reports it can be used for rescue operations on water.
Though these Hoverbikes are popping up, people are not convinced of the efficiency
and safety of these flying bikes.
There are many companies who are focused in developing Hoverbikes and the list
goes on and on. Surely one day will come when people will use their own
Hoverbike to travel around the streets.
