GREEN RACING CAR:
The students
at the Indian institute of technology, IIT-Bombay, have manufactured India's first
green car
that can be used on th racing track.The country's first electric racing car,
EVO1, is powered by high efficiency DC motors and superior lithium
polymer batteries.
WIND POWER:
Even-though India is a relative newcomer to the wind power industry compared with Denmark , united states, India has the fifth largest installed win power capacity in the world
GM GAINT:
India has the fourth largest area painted with genetically modified crops.among the GM crops in India, Bt cotton, a GM version of cotton, comes first, it occupies an area of 11 million hectares of land.
GLOBAL LEADER:
According to the BBC, India is the front runner in green technology. India invested 10 billion
dollars in this area, which is the largest among any of the other major world economies.
